YOU DO NOT NEED A PEN PAL TO BE A MEMBER OF AK PENPALS

 

Having a pen pal is only one part of the club, and you can still participate in club activities without one. If you do want one, there are two ways to get a pen pal. The first is through two apps, and the second is through our partnerships with other schools.

The main difference between the two is that the apps offer you a greater pool of pen pals to choose from. Our pen pal programs are limited to certain schools, but it is a lot more one-on-one than the apps.

 

Both options have advantages and disadvantages, so it is up to personal preference. You can do both at the same time, but we recommend starting out with one.
